At Campuxmart, we want every transaction to be a positive experience. This policy outlines the terms for returns and refunds on our marketplace. Since Campuxmart connects independent student vendors with buyers, individual vendors set their own return policies within our fair-trade guidelines.

🔄 General Return Guidelines
Vendor-Specific Policies
Each vendor on Campuxmart sets their own return policy, which must be clearly displayed on their store page and product listings. Always review a vendor's return policy before making a purchase.
Standard Return Window
Most vendors offer returns within 7-14 days of delivery, though some may offer shorter or longer windows depending on the product type. Custom or personalized items may not be returnable.
Condition Requirements
Items must generally be returned in their original condition, unused, and with original packaging and tags (where applicable). Used or damaged items may not be eligible for return.
✅ Valid Reasons for Returns
Always Eligible for Return:
- • Item not as described in the listing
- • Item arrived damaged or defective
- • Wrong item was shipped
- • Item missing parts or components
- • Counterfeit or prohibited items
Vendor Discretion:
- • Changed your mind about the purchase
- • Item doesn't fit or match expectations
- • Found a better price elsewhere
- • No longer needed
* Vendors may accept these returns at their discretion. Check individual vendor policies.
🚫 Generally Non-Returnable Items
The following items are typically non-returnable unless defective or not as described:
- • Personalized or custom-made items
- • Digital products and gift cards
- • Perishable goods (food, flowers, etc.)
- • Health and beauty products (if opened)
- • Intimate apparel and swimwear (if tried on)
- • Final sale or clearance items
- • Event tickets and time-sensitive services
- • Downloadable software or content

Vendor reviews and approves or denies the return request

Return item as instructed and receive your refund
💰 Refund Process
Processing Time
Once a vendor approves your return and receives the item back, refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days.
Refund Method
Refunds are issued to your original payment method through Monnify. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for funds to appear in your account.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, partial refunds may be offered for items that show signs of use, damage, or are returned without original packaging. The vendor will communicate this before processing.
Return Shipping Costs
If the return is due to vendor error (wrong item, defective, not as described), the vendor covers return shipping. For other returns, buyers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated in the vendor's policy.
🔄 Exchanges
Some vendors offer direct exchanges for different sizes, colors, or variations. To request an exchange:
- • Contact the vendor to check if exchanges are available
- • Confirm the desired replacement item is in stock
- • Follow the vendor's exchange process
- • Exchange shipping may apply depending on the reason
Not all vendors offer exchanges. Check with your vendor directly.
⚠️ Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- 1. Document the damage: Take clear photos of the item, packaging, and any damage
- 2. Contact immediately: Reach out to the vendor within 48 hours of delivery
- 3. Don't discard packaging: Keep all original packaging until the issue is resolved
- 4. Work with vendor: The vendor will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund
Tip: Inspect packages upon delivery. If outer packaging is severely damaged, consider documenting it with the delivery person or taking photos before opening.
⚖️ Dispute Resolution
If you can't reach an agreement with a vendor regarding a return or refund:
- • Give the vendor at least 48 hours to respond to your initial request
- • Try to communicate clearly and provide all necessary information
- • If no resolution is reached, contact Campuxmart Support at support@campuxmart.com
- • Our team will review the case and mediate between you and the vendor
- • We may request additional documentation or evidence from both parties
Our goal: Fair outcomes for both buyers and vendors based on our marketplace policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
🎯 Special Circumstances
Lost Packages
If your package is lost in transit, contact the vendor immediately. They'll work with the shipping carrier to locate the package or issue a replacement/refund.
Delayed Deliveries
If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe, contact the vendor for an update. You may be eligible for a refund if the delay is excessive.
Canceled Orders
If a vendor cancels your order, you'll receive a full refund within 3-5 business days. You'll be notified via email.
Fraud Protection
Campuxmart uses secure payment processing. If you suspect fraudulent activity, contact us immediately for investigation and potential refund.
📜 Your Consumer Rights
As a buyer on Campuxmart, you have the right to:
